By implementing such technology in the house one would reduce the risks of several incidents such as living the Gas tap on or not locking the door. The reason being that if the person forgets about such things the AR system together with the other systems mentioned in this report, would notify the person by raising an alert onto the display of the headgear.
On the other hand the main disadvantage of such system is that the user needs to wear the headgear at all time to be able to take advantage of it, since none of the alerts would be seen unless the tags are viewed though the headgear.
Moreover, to implement such system AR tags needs to be placed onto every object. The problem with this being that some people may find this unsightly and would not want to implement the system.
